The firm was founded in 1981 by Franz-Josef Thelen. After years of steady growth, the firm expanded its premises in 1997 by relocating to Bettrather Straße 75. Located in the heart of Mönchengladbach and surrounded by the Bunter Garten, our offices offer the ideal setting to welcome clients and provide outstanding services in a pleasant environment.

Sebastian Thelen

Sebastian Thelen studied Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in Taxation and Auditing as well as Finance and Banking.
After being awarded the academic degree Diplom-Kaufmann at the age of 24, he worked for more than five years in the field of taxation at two of Germany’s largest auditing and consulting firms. At just 27 years old, he was appointed as a certified tax advisor, making him one of the youngest at the time.

At the beginning of his self-employed career, he worked, among other roles, for one of Germany’s most renowned law firms in the area of income tax. Through this work, Sebastian Thelen gained extensive experience not only in the ongoing tax advisory of corporations and partnerships, but also in private client services.

Alongside his professional activities, Sebastian Thelen studied Business Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Münster. Upon completion of this part-time program, he was awarded the academic degree Master of Laws (LL.M.).

Sebastian Thelen is fluent in English and has a very good command of French, having spent a school year in England (Sutton Valence, Kent) as well as a semester in France at the École de Commerce de Pau.

Sebastian Thelen has published several articles in the renowned professional journal Gestaltende Steuerberatung (GStB), published by IWW Verlag. These publications are based on practical cases from everyday tax advisory work:
